I wish to direct your attention to solo-dev.deviantart.com/art/Gn… , which is a mod of fpmurphy's extension.

I actually also made a mod of the theme selector extension a while ago. I changed the class it uses to draw the background rectangle (behind the preview image) to a custom ".theme-selector".

I think it would be cool if people started using that, then people could have custom boxes :)

What prompted me to do that was how now it uses the workspace-switcher (on the right), which has rounded edges on one side, and squared on the other usually.

I also found a detail setting in the extension's guts, which you can change to make the previews nicer. I think it would be good to have the theme-selector operate in percents, so it looks good on any screen size, and isn't too big or small.

So mostly this is to see what people thing of the ideas, and I'll be sure to send this off to fpmurphy, too. :)

Proposed ideas:
-change the class it uses to draw the background rectangle (behind the preview image) to a custom ".theme-selector". *implemented by me
-have the theme selector operate in percents, so it looks good on any screen size, and isn't too big or small.
-have a standardized theme-preview image resolution
-use scrollbars if too many themes are installed at once
-have a GUI for editing the theme-selector's preferences (preview detail, preview size, selected theme outline colour, etc.)
